Pork Kebabs

    Ingredients

    • 1.5kg Pork Loin
    • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
    • 4 cloves Garlic
    • 2 Lemons
    • Salt and Pepper
    • 500g Mezé Tzatziki
    • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
    • 12 Mezé Pita Bread
    • 12 Wooden Skewers

    Directions

    Cube the Pork loin. Place in a bowl, season with salt, pepper, oregano and crushed garlic.

    Drizzle with olive oil and rub all ingredients over the cubes. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight if possible.

    Soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning. Thread the cubes of meat onto the skewers.

    If cooking on a braai, ensure the fire is hot and that the grid is oiled.

    Cook kebabs for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden on each side. Once cooked, place on a platter and squeeze fresh lemon over.

    Serve with Tzatziki and heated Pita.
